Here you can see the mountainous Isle of Arran (view looking south west in the map) from when I did a shore dive from the Isle of Cumbrae.

Diving from a RIB (rigid inflatable boat) can be fun but there isn't much space for the divers or equipment. You have to enter doing the backwards roll and help is needed exiting the water.  Excuse the shaky filming, it was a fast RIB!

Furnace, Loch Fyne, Scotland


Loch Fyne was probably the loch where I did the majority of my scuba diving training in Scotland.  It is the longest sea loch in the UK.  As can be seen in the video the weather conditions weren't always the best, especially for doing surface cover at the end of winter.  It was actually a relief to get under water out of the wind and rain.
